My first time in the Middle East and boy did we have a TIME! I spent 4 days in Dubai to celebrate my friend’s 30th birthday, so in this blog I’ll be sharing 5 things I believe you absolutely HAVE to have on your Dubai itinerary.
1. I think this goes without saying but you can’t visit Dubai and NOT make it to the desert. Our Desert Safari package included ATVs, sand boarding, dune bashing, a very brief camel ride + a BBQ dinner I I say do it all if you can! Although we had a blast, I wouldn’t recommend the company we booked with so I won’t share their information. Disclaimer, regarding the dune bashing, if you’re motion sickness prone you might want to 1. pack dramamine 2. avoid the back seat 3. OR maybe skip the dune bashing altogether.

2. Is your trip really complete if you don’t have a yacht day? Sailing at sunset was the perfect way to end our last evening in Dubai.

3. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque was magical! I don’t think pictures truly capture the essence of this place but definitely an experience like no other! It’s in Abu Dhabi which was about an hour drive from our hotel but imo so worth it!

4. I highly recommend taking an abra to visit the souks in Old Dubai for a dope cultural experience! You’ll find abayas, spices, gold, perfume, street food and so much more! Bought my first Arab fragrance here & I fell in LOVE. Best part about it was I only paid $10 for it!

5. Soul brunch was by far one of the LITTEST day parties I’ve ever been to! If y’all don’t make it to any other parties/clubs in Dubai, PLEASE make it to this one! The vibes were immaculate, I’m saying they played R&B, soca, Afrobeats, Rap, Dancehall.. you name it! I didn’t get any pictures but check out the Dubai vlog on my Youtube channel!
